We should make a trailer

I would really love to explore the idea of making a promotional trailer. I don't think any directing project has ever done that before, and I think it would just be a really cool thing to do, and something that I would love to have in my portfolio. We could use the music Kevin will have composed, and use some of the video Nivan has taken, as well as some of the videos I took while in New York City. I know Nivan doesn't want to be the one making it, but I would be willing to do it, and would love if anyone else wanted to help out. I might also talk to one of my film friends. I want to not show any kind of scene, but more the setting and overall feel of the play. Maybe have some lines recorded and put in with the music. I'm thinking it would start with a sunrise. Maybe I'll go out and film the sun rising over Lake Michigan. Let me know what y'all think.

  1. I think that's a really great way to promote the show (If we don't buy the rights though, we'll have to look into if we can 'legally' do that) It'd be great if you can find a film student to help you out, because I don't want you to take on too many projects when the whole process is already enough for one person to organize. And I would love to accompany you some morning to film the sun rise, and fight off any sketchy people who may want to encourage you to join their cult.

  2. I think we could just put "Emily Darlington Cooke's Directing Advanced Project", have all the times and everything. I asked Nate, a friend of Sarah and I, if he would be interested in helping. Nivan, I know you are super busy so I really don't want to put you on this, but of course I would still want your collaboration. I think it would be lovely to watch the sun rise with you, Cassie.

Also, I meant to put this in there, but I would want to air it by November 14th (a month before the production). But I could conceivably push it back to the end of November if that is too soon. Maybe it would be better to do it closer to the production.
